To attend my Master's course requires (of course) prior attendance at a Reiki I/ II class, either online or in-person with Lisa Guyman or another teacher, provided that the Reiki I/II training you took totaled 10+ hours in duration and was live.* 

This being said, many students decide to add the Reiki I/II levels to the weekend and are so glad they did. It's a powerful weekend experience. To look at the all levels registration page, click here.

*Purely online classes (non-live video-based courses) do not satisfy the prerequisites, such as courses on Udemy. 

If you've taken Reiki I, II, and Masters with another teacher, and you'd like to take the Teacher level with me, I'd love to have you join my workshop...

However, I do require that you take at least one other level of Reiki with me, such as taking the Master's training along with the Teacher training.

There are a couple of reasons for this...

First, when you take the Reiki Teacher training with me, you're then authorized to purchase my spiral-bound manuals for use in your own classes!

Secondly, there are certain things I cover in my workshops that are critical for anyone who is thinking of teaching Reiki to others. 

And, when you take training with me, you'll refresh your Reiki knowledge, experience my teaching style, and get to immerse yourself in the energy of Reiki for an extra day. 

On a personal note: I've taken level one, 4X, level two, 3X, and the Master and Teacher levels 4X. Each time I've taken a Reiki training, I've gained so much out of the experience, and it's kept my approach to teaching and practicing Reiki fresh over the past 25 years.

The Reiki Teacher training isn't just for people who want to teach Reiki. 

Many of my students say it strengthened their confidence as a practitioner because of the behind-the-scenes view they got (despite not expecting to ever teach Reiki).

In the Teacher's class, you'll get a 360-degree view and experience of Reiki. You'll see how the attunements are done and get to practice the attunements with a classmate. And you'll learn the keys to successfully empowering others with Reiki.

You'll learn how to teach Reiki one-on-one, in small groups, online and in-person. Plus I'll share my marketing ideas with you, including the best ways to get started teaching classes.

Taking the Teacher level in addition to the Master level of Reiki gives you the most versatility.

You might be surprised when, in a few weeks or months, someone asks YOU to teach them Reiki and you decide to go for it. Perhaps you'll teach Reiki to a friend, a family member, or acquaintance, and, in doing so, change someone's life.

On a personal note: when I took my Reiki classes in 1997 and 1998, I thought I'd teach a few people. I had no idea what would unfold. I am incredibly grateful that I was open to the idea of teaching Reiki. To this day, Reiki never ceases to amaze me, and I'm so glad I get to share the gift of Reiki with others

If you are taking all levels at the same weekend, i.e. Reiki I, II, Master's and Teacher's, I recommend getting six months or more of practice before teaching Reiki.

If you have already been practicing Reiki for a while, you can jump right into teaching. 

I started teaching in 1998 after about eight months of practice.

I love creating engaging experiences for my students in all levels of Reiki.

You'll give and receive Reiki with partners in guided breakout sessions at the Master's level, and you'll practice the energetic release technique at that level. You'll be amazed at the power of remote Reiki. 

You'll also experience receiving the Attunements at the Master and Teacher levels.

And at the Teacher's level, you'll practice giving attunements with your classmates.

Both formats are deeply experiential and cover the same curriculum. You'll receive attunements and enjoy hands-on practice either way.

The only difference is how we connect: Online you'll experience more remote Reiki practice and be guided in offering a "table treatment at home" with your loved one, while in-person you'll give and receive table treatments in class.

Unlike massage therapy, there's no government-issued license for Reiki practitioners. After attending my classes, you'll receive a certificate acknowledging the levels you've completed, which alllows you to join the International Association of Reiki Professionals, if you wish. 

Some teachers use the term "certified," but in most states there's no licensing or government certifying category for Reiki which is actually great news because it keeps Reiki open and accessible. 

For example, in Colorado, the "right to practice" law protects spiritual and energy-based work while requiring only a simple disclosure form (included in your class materials).

Even just a few minutes of self-Reiki or time spent activating the symbols or practicing the Reiki principles in gassho keeps the energy flowing and deepens your connection to Reiki.

Your course tuition includes live instruction with me, Reiki attunements for each level, hands-on practice, your digital class manual(s), and access to an after-class portal with your materials and other resources. You'll also receive your printed certificate of completion by mail.

In each level of Reiki, you'll be guided into a deeply relaxing meditation, and then I'll individually attune you to that level of Reiki. Think of it as an energy activation.
